Bringing 300 students and 40 alumni together
I co-organised a networking afternoon between students and alumni, from the speaker line-up to the registration campaign.

01The brief
Students kept saying they had no contacts in the industry, while alumni wanted to give back but were rarely invited. The association asked us to create its first networking day, with no venue budget and six weeks to make it happen.
02What I did
As co-organiser in charge of communication, I followed the event from the first message to alumni to the thank-you emails.
- Line-up: 40 alumni reached through LinkedIn and the school network, grouped by job family.
- Format: round tables of eight students rotating every 20 minutes, followed by an open coffee session.
- Campaign: speaker portraits on Instagram, posters around campus and short class announcements.
- On the day: welcome desk, timing of the rotations and coordination of fifteen volunteers.
A satisfaction survey sent the next morning shaped a second edition with more marketing and event profiles.
